InDesign Project 2 Target Audience Statement


            My desired message that I want to reach the readers of the brochure is to purchase a season ticket package for the Philadelphia Phillies. The brochure is completely dedicated to informing the reader about the package and convinces them to put a deposit down. It describes the benefits it offers over single game tickets or 14 game ticket packages. It is the best deal for dedicated fans and they should act on it.
            My target audience is middle-aged men that can range from around 20 years old to upper 40s. They should live close to Philadelphia, as the ticket plan is only for games at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia so it should be an easy commute for them to take advantage of it. It is designed for diehard Phillies fans that want to see every game and are already informed about the players and the rules of baseball. A steady income should be necessary as a season ticket plan is not cheap so they should have some disposable income.
            My brochure applies to that target audience by not being overly specific on things and assumes the reader has a general knowledge about baseball and the Phillies. They probably have already been to Citizens Bank Park and know where that is so I do not have to explain that. I do not put names under the players I have appearing in the brochure because they already know who they are by just looking at them. The colors and logos make it very clear it is about the Phillies and should catch the attention of any interested fan. The pricing makes it clear that it is not a small investment to take advantage of it.
